About Jane Renwick

Following a life-long passion for art, sculpture and design, Jane graduated with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Sequential Illustration from the Swindon School of Art (Bath University).

Since graduating Jane has been busy as a self employed artist and sculptor. As a member of the Wagon Yard Artists Jane creates contemporary lithophane electric and candle lit lights that exploit the translucency of porcelain to illuminate intricate designs inspired by nature.

Jane also works with liquid metals and resins, creating art works and sculptural surfaces using a wide variety of skills and techniques. Working in the decorative metal coating industry Jane loves working to a brief, experimenting, designing and delivering innovative applications for creative metal finishes and resins. As part of a highly skilled team, Jane works closely with interior designers and architects to create unique finishes, textures and sculptured surfaces for some of the world’s finest hotels and private residences.
